The last day of November and of NaNoWriMo and I’m amazed to say I managed to get it across the line with 50,545 words with hours to spare.
This is my entry for round two of the NYC Midnight – 250-word Microfiction Challenge 2019. The challenge, to write a 250-word piece of micro-fiction based on a Genre / Action / Word in 24 hours.
Three-quarters of the way through NaNoWriMo and dare I say it’s going well. I’ve Hit the 36k target and this week has been a little easier than the first fortnight.
Half-way through NaNoWriMo and by hook or by crook, I’ve hit the 25k target. Let’s just say it’s a been a week of ups and downs as shown by the daily word count.
This is my entry to the 3rd challenge of the NYC Midnight’s Flash Fiction 2019 Challenge. A yearly competition for writers from around the world (originally 3700+ of them) to create a 1000 word short fictional story in 48 hours based on 3 random prompts – a genre, a location and an object.
One week into NaNoWriMo and dare I suggest it’s going okay. I spent most of October doing everything and anything to avoid planning.
Week 13 participating in the very popular #vss365 challenge on Twitter. The aim, to write a daily Very Short Story in less than 280 characters, a single tweet. Yes, that’s characters! Not words.
