This is my second attempt at the BlogBattler’s January writing prompt “bucket”. My first effort proved to be a little too experimental even for my tastes. I might yet find a way to fix it and if I do I’ll post it. In the meantime, my second attempt is in every sense shit (~1090 words, a tad over the limit).

This writing prompt is courtesy of Sue Vincent’s fun #writephoto challenge is and entitled “keep”. It’s a great photo, I look forward to knowing where it was taken. I’ve gone with a bit of a medieval dark comedy (~650 words).

This is my take on Sadje’s What do you See? writing prompt. Thanks, Sadje for finding such a gift, I hope I haven’t squandered it with this highly experimental effort. It’s a little bit different. (~460 words)
Here’s my take on Carol J Forrester’s monthly speculative fiction prompt. This months prompt is a very intriguing photo with so many possibilities, I look forward to reading the other great takes to see where other writers have taken it (~1000 words).
It’s a new year and my first stab at a 2020 writing prompt is courtesy of Peter Wyn Mosey. Nice to get back to some writing after a couple of weeks of excess. I went with the 3rd writing prompt “You have beautiful eyes, it’s a shame”. Sounded like a bit of fun. This take is a bit of a tangent to my epically floundering WIP (1000 words).
